Fair trafficHeaded to the Hamilton County Fair at McDonald Farm?
Headed to the Hamilton County Fair at McDonald Farm? TDOT has a temporary traffic pattern on U.S. 27 (State Route 29) near the Rhea County line through Sun., Nov. 8, with northbound fair traffic using the left lane. The Rhea County Sheriff's Office also has a modified traffic plan and urges caution, and drivers should expect heavy traffic and potential delays. We suggest leaving extra time.

Road closureEast Brainerd Road at the CSX bridge, between Brainerd Road and Hickory Valley Road, will close to all traffic from 5 a.m.
East Brainerd Road at the CSX bridge, between Brainerd Road and Hickory Valley Road, will close to all traffic from 5 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, until 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8. Only local traffic will be allowed from Brainerd Road to Benham Drive and from Hickory Valley Road to Premier Drive. TDOT says detours will be posted for the bridge replacement project.
