Parkridge Medical Center celebrated a grand opening Friday for a three-story patient tower that adds 50 beds and a new entrance to the hospital. If you or someone you know gets care there, here's what's new.
Parkridge Health System, part of Nashville-based HCA Healthcare, began building in 2025. The hospital called it a $99 million expansion, while the Times Free Press reported $100 million. CEO Chris Cosby said, “With our ERs growing, with physicians choosing to realign with Parkridge and bring their patients here, we needed to add capacity.”
- Opens to patients: Nov. 10
- Address: 2333 McCallie Ave.
- First floor: new main lobby, meeting and education spaces
- Room to grow: the tower can add more stories
