Trail Work Party: Clear the Leaves at Walden's Ridge

Join SORBA Chattanooga and Hamilton County Parks and Recreation for a fall trail work party to clear the leaves from the downhill trails at Walden’s Ridge Park!

Every fall, thick layers of leaves cover the trails. They make for slippery conditions on Walden's Downhill Trails. Clearing them keeps the downhill trails safe, rideable, and in good shape heading into winter. No experience needed. We’ll show you everything you need to know.

Event Details Date: Sunday, November 15 Time: 9 am - 12 pm Meeting Location: Lower Lot, Walden’s Ridge Park

What to Wear

• Closed-toed shoes (hiking boots or sturdy work boots recommended)

• Long pants

• Layers for the cool fall weather

What to Bring

• Reusable water bottle

• Snacks

• Work gloves (optional, but encouraged)

• Leaf blower or rake, if you have one (optional)

• Tools, safety gear, and project guidance
