• Proper salting and rinsing techniques
• Making the spicy kimchi paste
• Mixing, packing, and fermenting kimchi
• Understanding fermentation and gut-healthy probiotics
What You’ll Do
• Make traditional kimchi (poggi or mat kimchi, depending on class style)
• Participate in a group, hands-on cooking experience
• Taste kimchi paired with wine-braised pork
• Take home your own freshly made kimchi and a recipe to recreate it at home
What’s Included
• All ingredients and tools
• Hands-on instruction
• Kimchi tasting
• Your own jar of kimchi to take home
What to Bring
• Your favorite apron (or disposables are available)
• A container for your kimchi (preferably glass, 32–36 oz or larger; extras available)
Important Notes
• Traditional kimchi contains seafood (salted shrimp/fish sauce)
• Please notify us of any food allergies, especially seafood
• Vegan options may be limited, as kimchi is made in large shared batches
