Harvest for Hope Open House

About this event

Whether this is the first time you are hearing about our organization or you have not visited in a long-time, we would love to see you on November 7 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm! Tours, door prizes, live music, and light refreshments to get you in the mood for Thanksgiving will be available. Come engage with residents, parents, staff, and Board members to learn about all the good things happening at Hosanna and the ways you can get involved or support our mission.

Consider bringing a community member, friend, colleague, or a fellow parishioner with you for this drop-by event.

Hosanna's mission is to empower adults who live with intellectual and/or physical disabilities to use their unique gifts to strive for independence in life skills, goals, wellness, and to make an impact in their communities. Residents have access to a case manager who can help them find paid and non-paid engagement opportunities, complete benefits paperwork, and to help them advocate for their health needs (including scheduling doctor appointments). Hosanna Community members also have access to an on-site Resident and Operations Assistant 24/7 and paid transportation. Hosanna's 7-acre property also has a walking trail, a pavilion, a garden, plenty of "green" spaces, and multiple areas and supplies for activities. Two fun daily weekday activities frequently cover areas/topics such as empowerment and independence, community building, fitness and exercise, and a variety of educational topics. As one resident frequently says, "Hosanna Community gives me hope for the future."
